Title: Enduring Valor
Description: Enduring Valor is a short documentary showcasing Silver Star Apartments, a zero-net energy affordable housing development for formerly homelessness veterans in Los Angeles. The housing project was a collaboration between A Community of Friends, a non-profit developer, and FSY Architects, the architect, both based in Los Angeles. The film highlights several Silver Star residents, all U.S. veterans, who have been impacted by homelessness. They each moved into Silver Star Apartments just after the project’s completion in July 2017. Through the support of A Community of Friends and U.S. VETS, as well as their enduring valor, they have overcome major life challenges and built a community in a place they can call home.
