We connected with Miami architects Reinaldo Borges and Elizabeth Camargo to learn more about their efforts in their community to solve issues related to sea level rise. Miami is particularly prone to problems related to climate change and sea level rise. With every passing year, ocean levels creep closer to Miami's shores and hurricanes have become stronger and more frequent. Architects are uniquely poised to contribute to solutions relating to these issues, because they have the training, insight and influence that is key to creating a more resilient and future-conscious community.
We were honored to tell these two architects stories and highlight the exceptional efforts that they have been initiating in their South Florida community.
