Title: Kids Draw the Bushnell Center
Category: Justice & equity
Description: This film was captured on July 23rd during The Center for Architecture and Design's event "Kids Draw Architecture". "Kids Draw Architecture" is an educational program originally created in 1988 by the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara to both connect architects with children and their parents to acquire appreciation for landscape, architecture and the built environment. This film was made in collaboration with The Center for Architecture and Design to showcase the program. David Bushnell Center for Athletics & Community was the perfect location for the event as it joins both the built environment with nature through the street façade that features a growing wall of native pollinator vines creating a new dynamic identity for the campus as well as a life-long metaphor for learning, nature and growth.
